Is your name Job? Jesus, I pray in your name that someone will receive what you have given unto me to share this day. Amen Have you ever felt like Job? On the other hand, felt like someone is out to get you! and whom you ask? The celestial prosecutor, Satan, the adversary, the devil, the father of lies, Lucifer, the serpent, and the wicked one. These names are names that describe Satan in the Bible. In the book of Job, the very first chapter Satan is busy as usual trying to get God to remove the hedge from around Job (you) so he can have his way with Job (you). His way with us is not a pretty picture, he wants to KILL our hope, STILL our joy and ultimately DESTROY us. Let us take a closer look at the way Satan attacks Job (you). First, he comes to God when the sons of God came to present themselves before God. Satan came from roaming back and forth, up and down in the earth. He considers a true worshipper (you), an upright man (you) who hates evil (you). He says to God, if you will remove the hedge from around Job, Job will curse you to your face. God says okay, he grants Satan his request. The word of God goes on to say that while a feast was going on at Job's son house that Job's livestock, servants, and children were under attack by the hand of Satan and killed. The one exception was the messenger whom God saved to tell the story. After all this, Job fell on his face and worshiped the Lord. Think about this for a minute..he has lost his livestock, servants and children and yet he worshiped God. If some of us lost five dollars, we would lose all the faith God had given us. Meeting two, again Satan is coming from roaming to and from the earth. Going up and down in it, but this time he wants flesh and bone. He claims that a man will give all that he has for his own life. Once again, God grants Satan's request and Satan attacks Job's (you) health. So much so, that Job's three friends could hardly recognize him. Saints, I came to tell you that Satan is still going to the heavenly meetings with the sons of God to accuse us before God, wanting to get God to remove not bethe hedge he has placed around us. He wants to do whatever it takes to put us in a place where we will curse God to his face. Understand this one-thing saints of God. You don't have to open your mouth to curse God all we have to do is lieve that he is who he says he is. In addition, we will soon find ourselves in the hands of Satan.As I read the book of Job and got to the latter chapters of this book. I began to see life as it is today. His wife wanted him to curse God and die. Was it because he was suffering to her or had Job become so ugly to her that she could not stand it? Alternatively, maybe because now she was not in the spotlight anymore (due to the losses that he had obtained)? Although she was his wife, was she a worshipper, one who had the faith of a praying woman? Some of us are in the same situation as Job we have a mate who does not understand why we do what we do, but when you know what you know, you will worship God and sing praises to his holy name, why we pray all through the day. Prayer changes things and people... Moreover, why we even keep a word from the Lord to share with the broken hearted, the widows, the backsliding saints and even the ones that do us harm. If you are going through some things in this life, the worst thing you can do is blame God, because when we start to blame God for wrongdoing we become stuck right in the middle of what we are going through. It is better to go through than to be stuck. Amen! When you are stuck, you cannot move forward, backward, sideways or no other way. Nevertheless, God will go through with you when you worship him in the beauty of holiness and give praises to his holy name. As a matter of fact, God will lead the way... Ok, let us move on to Jobs (our) friends the ones who always have an answer to our discomfort in life, or our issues. Instead of praying with us they use carnal wisdom and knowledge to get us to understand what is happening to us. They say things like if you had done this, then these things would not be happening to you or better yet this one: what you should do is this or that. inIf you are sold out to Jesus, you should never allow the questions from so-called friends to lead you to a worst off state then you are already . As long as you got it going on you will have friends, but the second your status changes for the worst they change within the minute. Remember that Satan is still going to God to accuse us just as he did Job, he wants to kill us but God will not allow him to. God has a purpose for our lives just as he had a purpose for Job's life, which was for us to read this book and concluded that through it all, God is in control yesterday, today and forever. As Job did not blame God for his issues in life, we must also not blame God for our own issues, for though he slays me; yet will I trust him. So your name and my name is Job we each suffer from the attacks from the celestial prosecutor we all are on the Satan's hit list we all in some form must count it all joy, because we serve a God who sees, knows and hears everything. Keep a word in your heart, a song of praise on your lips and worship God every chance you get. See, when we praise God it is for what he has done, but saints when we worship God it is for whom he is to and for us! AMEN
