ABC's To SalvationHave
you asked Jesus to be your Savior? I did and because I did I have become free
from guilt and shame of sin. He’s waiting to hear from you! Admit honestly
to God that you have sinned and disobeyed Him.
The Bible says: Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." No sin is allowed in heaven. Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. His blood was shed to pay for your sins and my sins. The Bible says: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures." Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Because Jesus loves you so much, He took the punishment for you and I so that we can be forgiven. Choose to trust Jesus alone for the forgiveness of your sins. The Bible says: Romans 10:13 "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." To begin a personal relationship with Jesus TODAY, please pray this prayer: Lord Jesus, I invite You into my life. I believe you died for me and that your blood pays for my sins and provides me with the gift of eternal life. By faith I receive that gift, and I acknowledge you as my Lord and Savior, Amen. John 3:18 "He who believes in Him (Jesus) is not condemned." When you trust in Jesus Christ alone to save you, God forgives you! You become His child, and He promises you a home in heaven forever! Put your trust in Jesus as your Savior from sin. Do it today, and begin following Him by obeying His Word...the Bible. |
Verse of the day:1 Chronicles 16:23
Sing unto the Lord, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation. Salvation (Latin salvatio; Greek sōtēria; Hebrew yeshu'ah) is being saved or protected from harm
[1] or being saved or delivered from some dire situation. [2] In religion, salvation is stated as the saving of the soul from sin and its consequences. [3]The academic study of salvation is called soteriology. It concerns itself with the comparative study of how different religious traditions conceive salvation (a concept existing across a wide range of cultural traditions), and how they believe it is obtained. |
John 10:7-11
7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 1 Peter 2:11
Flesh vs, Spirit 11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. if anyone knows about the war between good and evil the apostle peter can share quite a bit, it was peter who denied knowing Jesus 3 times, it was peter that walked with Jesus 3 years and knew to do good but still drew his knife and cut a mans ear off in the twinkling of an eye. peter, oh' peter... the one who said to Jesus that he would not suffer in Jerusalem.... Jesus rebuked the devil that was in peter at that moment and as you can see it didn't stop peter from serving the Lord. it was a learning moment for peter just as we have our moments when God is trying to get our attention to teach us something or get us to understand the right way, which is his way. since Adam fell in the garden, mankind has always had an issue when it comes to doing the right thing, the apostle Paul said in: (Romans 7:18-20 ) 18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. 19 For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. 20 But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.…) the real WAR is WITHIN. |
